Here is our little one showing off her cake creation yesterday and I don't think she could be more proud! It is a bit hard to see all of her details but there are five candles on top with a nice draping frosting effect around the sides.
I just love this girl. And I know she knows that because I tell her all of the time.
So . . . .
speaking of cake.
Have you seen these cake paintings composed by
and
because if you have not
well
you are in for a special treat today.
Jordan baked the cakes and Paul painted them.
And I wish I could have one of each to hang in my parlor.
I also wish I had a parlor but anyway.
These are lovely.
Click through Paul's link to see the full collection.
In other news the card catalog is done and awaiting its photo shoot which should happen this weekend.Lovely Friday to you all.

How pretty! I HAD to go look at all the others. :)
I love those paintings! I think I'd rather have a painting then the cake itself. They do look yummy!
She is just precious as is her cake! The paintings are fabulous, those would look really cute in a pallor!

Your daughter is just darling! I think the wedding cake painting would be a fun wedding gift for my niece. She's getting married next summer. I'll have to look into that!
