In The Works

We picked up some fabulous pieces today including an old dresser and mirror, a hutch, and a buffet. I cannot wait for Mike to get started on these.

However,

first and foremost we have this up next . . .

a sweet hutch that we found a few weeks back that we are now doing for a client. She has requested a white finish, light distressing, and all glass removed. We will be putting chicken wire in place of the glass and replacing the glass shelves with wood shelves. We will be adding new hardware to finish it off. I think this will be an amazing makeover.

She has also brought us a this . . .

an old antique changing table that she will be converting to a tabouret. We will be completing this in the same finish as the hutch.

Next we will be finishing this dresser along with a tall boy dresser and nightstand in the classic black finish. This client is moving into a new home and is excited to give this bedroom set a makeover.

Mike will also be finishing up this dresser and here is a sneak peak of one of the drawers so you can see the color. It is a cream color with a dark glaze highlighting all of the details.It is going to be fabulous. Behind the two doors are three drawers that he has converted into shelves. This would be perfect for an entertainment center. The shelves will provide for placement of equipment and the drawers for storage of movies or games.

This dresser will be available for purchase within the next few days.
