From totally rough and shabby to a new life shiny as a red apple. Ha!
We are awaiting the black handles to arrive but we could not wait to take pictures because this has already been picked up and ready for its new home!
I think this picture emphasizes the curves in the drawers so nicely!
Nothing like cleaning up an old dresser with curves and legs and keyholes. Thank you to Sylvia for letting us be a part of it all.
Mike informed me that our fireplace mantel has been completed and now to just haul it here and decide which wall it belongs on and get it mounted and ready to go. I am so excited to share the reveal!

Bold and beautiful.
Oh the keyholes! I'm always drawn to furniture that has keyholes, they are so pretty & interesting to me! Nice color on this one :)
i love it, melanie! the red is just perfect on this one!
Oh, how I love red! And I love the keyholes, too ;-)
She's a beauty! I have the curves and the legs but wish I cleaned up that pretty!;>) xo Diana
Sweet cottage style pieces are my personal favorites! And this one is a lovely example!
Really different color there. Is it a red orange? Do you folks sand and prime your furniture first? I love the new white primer that is out there that you can paint right on top of the surface however it is.
Thank you,
Crystal
This looks like the classic dresser! What a beautiful job you have done. Years ago almost every home in America had a dresser like this. Ann
I love it! The red is very nice.
We love it! We found the perfect place for it to. :)
It looks so perfect and fallish! :)
This turned out beautiful!
Love the new color- it is darling! Can't wait to see the big fireplace mantel reveal too :) Thanks for linking up at Feathered Nest Friday!
The deep red color helps bring some masculinity to a feminine-shaped dresser. Great balance!
PERFECT shade of red. I love it. And you did such a great job on the painting. What a smooth finish.

Looks great! I have a question - I have a similar looking dresser in my garage waiting for it's turn to be re-habbed. It is missing one of the keyholes tho and I cannot seem to find a replacement one anywhere. Any brilliant ideas?? LOL
