This is a lovely antique dry sink that we have painted in a vintage white and lightly distressed. It is the third one we have refinished and each one is a bit different than the rest but has great character and functionality.
The first one we did was for a painter. She uses it as a tabouret to hold all of her painting supplies. The second one went to a family awaiting the arrival of their new babygirl. It was to be used as a changing table. It can also be used as a side table in a bedroom or next to a couch. I also see it on a porch holding tons of potted plants and a place to store gardening tools. 
And until this one goes off to its new home it is resting comfortably in our living room next to our window and sofa. And I kinda like it there.

It is stunning. We made a few cosmetic changes and have no regrets.

I don't know how you could ever think of parting with it. It's gorgeous! And I can't believe I never realized what a perfect changing table a dry sink would make. I guess I just don't have the artistic eye that you have! It's a really beautiful transformation!

Wow! I am always amazed at how much white paint (or any paint for that matter) can transform a piece of furniture! Suddenly it becomes something out of a Pottery Barn Catalogue (just without the outrageous price tag:-) I love it!
