It has been a month since I last posted and it seems that things in our world have change drastically. Needless to say, the move was weeks of work but we are settling in nicely. After renting a moving truck for two days and help from family and friends we got everything OVER to our new home and as it goes we are still unpacking boxes and searching for a few items.
We worked days and evenings to get everything ready to go. In the midst of all this our little one was super grumpy and ended up with croup PLUS a double ear infection which included two trips to instacare and a very sad little girl who just wanted to be held amidst all of the chaos.
So now that we are finally here my mind is a going on upcoming projects. Such as this.
Our new home does not have a fireplace but that doesn't mean we are not having a fireplace mantel! I am excited for this piece to be the newest addition to our home. 
I am excited to get caught up on all the projects that friends out there have been working on as well. It is nice to be back.
