Do you remember the custom hutch I have been talking about and earlier posted this before picture?
Before
I am in love with this hutch. We completed this custom refinish for Jamie Wayman the amazing artist. She requested that we remove all the glass from the doors and replace it with chicken wire. We replaced all of the glass shelving with more sturdy wood shelving.
The bottom of the hutch has tons of wood detailing. We replaced the hardware with bronzed pieces and painted the chicken wire and hinges to match.
I love, love, love the decorative wood piece at the top center of the hutch.
It gives it such a vintage flair and so much personality.
We have three hutches waiting for make overs plus my own Gardner Hutch.

I wish I could have a hutch in each and every room. They provide for tons of storage as well as a place for fun decorative pieces or priceless treasures to be displayed.
Mike is finishing up another custom refinish of two dressers and a nightstand. He is also painting our nightstand white. I purchased a bedroom set from Country Furniture at Gardner Village about five years ago. I had to wait six weeks to get it which turned into three months! It was a hassle to say the least. When it finally arrived I just loved it. However, I had ordered the nightstand in a red finish and it came with a stained finish like the rest of the pieces. Because I had waited so long I told them to forget it! So now after five years I am finally getting that piece painted. Wahoo. I will post pictures hopefully tomorrow!
Have a great day!

Love the hutch! That is exactly what I have in mind to do for our mother in law suite. A perfect place to store some clothes and a small tv.
Looks lovely! I really love the chicken wire- it adds such a fun, vintage flair!
What a difference it is in white- It's definetely an improvement!
This hutch is beautiful. You are really good at painting furniture. I wish I could have a hutch in every room also, only I am not as good with painting furniture.
