The Abigail Dresser - Before & After

Dimensions:

80" Wide . 32" Tall . 20" Deep

Before

After

This dresser is huge! It is the biggest one we have done yet. Behind the two doors were three drawers as is typical for a dresser. However, Mike pulled out two of the drawers and made two shelves. So many today are using dressers like this to display their flat screen t.v.s and the shelves will be perfect to house audio equipment.

This piece has been painted in an off white and rubbed with a deep chocolate brown glaze. It looks amazing! It has a rich old age to it with the antiqued finish.

This dresser is unique with the curved outline on the sides. Instead of the typical straight line, this one curves out so the back of the dresser is actually wider than the front. It gives it a very elegant look.

The drawer fronts have tons of detail with the rounded inlay. We have added all new hardware to accent the glazed finish.

Coming up . . . Mike has just about completed the custom hutch. I cannot help but think of all the places in my own home I would put it. I love the size. It is not overbearing. It perfect. I cannot wait to show before and after photos. The taboriet is just waiting for its new hardware installed and it will be completed as well.

We have a room FULL of furniture waiting for its make over.

Happy Friday! I am excited for the beginning of the Olympic experience that starts tonight.

Go U.S. A.

I'm still always amazed at just how chic these plain tired old cabinets can look after a good coat of paint.
Gorgeous job.
