The Cutler Dresser Set Part 2 - Custom Refinish Before & After

Before Here is the second half of The Cutler Dresser Set which includes the long dresser, tall dresser, and the king headboard. Like I mentioned in the previous post the warmth of the wood stain peaks through the white paint perfectly. I have had several emails asking what color of white we use which is the Benjamin Moore Frostine.

After The oil rubbed bronze hardware always pops on the white wood. I typically try to use two different types of knobs and pulls to set apart the look of the drawers and the set up of the dresser itself. The king headboard has two arches with the Broyhill embellishment at the top. The headboard is a medium height with the footboard being much shorter which I like so you can display blankets and quilts at the end of the bed. Thanks again to the Cutler family. We also have one more reveal for them coming up. We painted a dresser set for their girls as well.

Looks beautiful! You guys always do amazing work! I have a question for you.... Is miniwax polyacrylic and miniwax polyeurothane the same thing? I looked at walmart after reading your 'how to's about sealing the piece after it's finished and you said to use polyacrylic clear, but I only saw polyeurothane ??
Thanks so much!
