Before One of my favorite types of chairs has always been the ladder back chair. They are just classic. The straight lines and angles give it elegance and comfort. We happened upon these and had planned to finish them with a dining table but had a client stop by to pick up a few side tables and snagged a couple of these as well.
After
We painted these in our classic black and re-upholstered the seats in a linen colored ticking fabric.
The legs have several layers of detail which pop with a bit of distressing.
The wood embellishment at the top of each chair is Broyhill's signature mark. Broyhill is a good quality furniture and we own a few of our own pieces as well.
