The Porter Cane Side Table - Before & After

Before Mike picked up this little cane side table the other day and with a fresh coat of paint it looks almost brand new.

After
This little table would work well next to a couch or even a bed. The bottom shelf has the cane design and provides for additional storage or display options.
It has a sweet scalloped skirt around the table top and chunky legs for support.
I had to show a picture of THIS picture because I adore it so. Although small, the frame is beautiful in all of its ornateness. The little print inside is not what it came with - rather it was a not so attractive self portrait of something so I swapped it out. This came from a book I picked up at a thrift store. I was thumbing through the pages when I got home and saw this picture. I looked around and while no one was watching I ripped it out and placed it in the frame. So glad it all worked out because I look at it all the time. Are your presents purchased and wrapped? Are you ready for the big holiday this weekend? We have a few extra errands to run and some more baking to do but it feels like we are making progress. We have also been busy with some refinish projects. I have a red buffet coming up along with a hall tree that will be available to be purchased.

We are also working on another giveaway. We found a great vintage item the other day and picked up an extra one so watch for the "One For Me One For You" Giveaway!

Happy Monday!

I am linking to the parties on my sidebar.

I wouldn't have looked twice at that table in it's original state. But now? I'd arm wrestle someone for it! Beautiful redo.
