My mom always told me that every room should have a clock.
And mine do.
But I would not say that they are all as wonderful as this one found at Madampickay.
This one has a dark face with dirty white numbers. It also has a second hand which I always watch for when picking out a clock.
It is well worn which is another feature I look for when picking up vintage items.
Are the alarm options at the top just wonderful! They are spelled out in almost a card catalog fashion.
If I could buy one thing vintage today it would be this vintage alarm clock.

that is adorable! i love the shape and style of that one. i like clocks, but i don't like the ticking....
i am teaching my kdis to tell time with a book with a clock hand in it. seems like all the clocks are digital these days, my alarm clock, the cable box clock, so the kids aren't learning like they used to!
I love it! Simple and yet so much personality especially with the alarm options!
I adore the shape of those numbers!
Melanie- I had to laugh- I have a clock that is visible in every room too. I think it's a sickness! Yours? Fantastic. Hugs- Diana
Love love love! Clock perfection!
what a great clock and a great find! Ticking! Nice! Alyssa
Melanie, I am slowly trying to amass a small collection of antique alarm clocks! THAT one is FABULOUS! I have one that is 125 years old, it's a Eureka. I also have a Baby Ben (the one you showed is a Big Ben) and a Nite N Day from the forties! It's SWEET! I'm definitely going to check out that source! THANKS!
