The Edna Room Makeover & Allison Kimball

All of these pieces came together . . . . And created this . . . .
and it turned out lovely. And sweet Sophie asleep on the bed just makes it all that more perfect. The vintage white finish has such a crisp fresh look. It is so inviting and peaceful. Thank you to A l l i s o n and Chach for letting us help them transform their room. These ladies (niece and aunt) are such a pleasure to work with. We laugh and examine and talk about all sort of options. We have more of their pieces coming up.

You must know that my good friend Allison is a mother of nine. Click through to her site to be inspired and uplifted. Because not only is she a mother, wife, daughter, and friend she is talented beyond measure. I cannot count her gifts. She has a creative vision that is unique and whimsical Allow me to elaborate.
She has a beautiful family. She knits.
She quilts.
She cooks.
She photographs.
She sews.
And that only names a few.
And remember
she
has
nine
children
she nurtures
she teaches
she loves
she raises.

She also scrapbooks professionally and I am going to touch on that in its very own posts still to come but I wanted to let you know she has a few free scrapbooking digital kits. If you look through her blog you will find even more than those I listed!
Free Colorful Kit
Free Party Kit

Go be inspired!

The room looks amazing. Everything looks so perfectly put together. She is a wonder for sure. How in the world can one person do all of that. Good for her. Hugs, Marty

Beautiful room! I've been looking for a headboard in that style (I think it's called cannonball?) for a while now for my guest room. Love it!
