Classic Black Small End Table

Before This is a tiny little end table that my sister wanted us to makeover for her. She wanted classic black and left up the hardware decision to us.

We added the oil rubbed bronze knobs and painted the little keyholes in the same color. That alone made a huge difference.

I had an email question about painting hinges and other hardware. We use Rust-Oleum Hammered Spray Paint which provides a solid finish. This is what we used to paint the little keyholes. I found that this sweet little wood detail at the base of the table popped after the black paint and distressing were complete. It was hardly noticeable before which is a shame because it has such a unique shape.

Just a quick before and after for the weekend. I hope my sister enjoys her new table and I have a few more coming up courtesy of her. She had us redo another side table and a beautiful bookshelf. It turned out wonderfully!

We were able to donate two hook boards and an old quilt and a few other odds and ends. We picked up some amazing furniture at the yard sale and we cannot wait to get started on them. It is so nice to know that all the proceeds go to helping him and his family with all of their medical bills. We wish their family the best and will keep them in our prayers.
