Before This is another side table that we painted for my sister. She has a beautiful home that is decorated very elegently. And it is always perfectly clean despite the fact that she has four boys ages 15, 13, and twins that are 12. It is always immaculate. I do not know how she does it.
After
We replaced the hardware with oil rubbed bronze knobs that have a nice lattice decor in the center. I like to use these kinds of knobs on pieces that tend to have a flatter look because it gives an extra dimension to the piece.
The tall thin black lantern sitting next to the table was a greeting piece I used at our wedding reception. I loved the design and glass and at the time it felt mysterious, medival, and romantic.
Once again I hope my sister enjoys her new piece. Tomorrow I will be revealing her bookshelf armoire. My sister collects books and the piece we helped her find will display her treasures beautifully.

Love both of your sister's little black tables. They inspired me to paint my own black end table, and I linked up to your blog!
