This is an antique dry sink that we have painted in our vintage white and lightly distressed. It would work beautifully in a nursery as a changing table for a new baby. We finished this piece just in time for our yardsale and thus it is still up on mover dollies. This piece has great details on the doors and at the base. It sits up on blocked legs with wonderful wood detail that gives it a chunky but delicate look.

Up next is an antique Mengel six drawer tall dresser. Oh my, it turned out beautifully. I may just keep it for myself.

Oooooh, it is fantastic!
Oh my! this is my absolute FAVORITE!!! I want it in every room of my house!
Drooling over your makeover! who would believe they'd find something like that at a garage sale?!
Wow, what a great makeover, your dry sink looks awesome painted white! I have the same sink in pine and I have wanted to do this for a long time, maybe you gave me the push to get to it!

Fantabulous! I hate to say this...but my parents have had a very similar style of dry sink ever since I can remember. Its an aweful mustard yellow color, and actully housed their stereo...so the ends of have spray painted burlap on them, to hide the speakers. ACK! However...I know I will most likely end up with this piece when they need to move to smaller living quarters. This post gives me hope! lol thanks!
That is STUNNING! I love it!!!
seeing this makes me want to go thrift shopping and yardsaling! wonderful transformation.
What a stunning transformation! Love the white and I adore the new hardware. Looks fabulous! Thanks so much for linking to the Sunday Showcase party! I greatly appreciate it! Hope you are having a fabulous week! ~ Stephanie Lynn
This is a gorgeous piece! I love it! Great transformation too, its so beautiful now.
Um, wow! And what a great idea for a changing table.
Wow! Did this piece ever get a new life! We redid an old dresser not long ago in a soft blue and white color wash and then padded the drawer with white satin lining filled with dried lavendar. It sold at the Scott Antique Market to a Mom-to-be who was expecting a boy the next month. I think people doing nurserys are looking for the unexpected...and your lovely piece certainly is that! Thanks for sharing on Modern Craftswoman Monday! Rory
Gorgeous! Followed your link from Shabby Nest - great job! It's so purdy! :)
