I actually really loved the color of this dresser before we painted it and had we had the time to completely restore it - that would have been my choice. However, due to those constraints we painted it in the vintage white which really updated its look. I love castors and included a before picture of them as well.
After This dresser has great details at the base.It has sweet detailed legs and the casters as well as horizontal grooved molding. We added new hardware including two glass knobs on the top drawer and fourblack pulls on the other two. These drawers are super big and deep.
I think that these old refinished antique pieces work fabulously as a greeting piece or next to a bed. Most entry ways have a wall that is visible and begging for some accessories. This works to fill that space and provide storage. I recommend hanging a mirror or artwork above the piece and then displaying pictures, clocks, books, or candles on the dresser. This piece has great lines and has a fresh clean look.
We one more vintage white dresser completed and one just waiting for hardware. My computer crashed on me yesterday due to a nasty virus and thus the late post. It has now been rebuilt but I am having to reinstall programs and such. Uggghhh! I had planned to post three dressers in three days but that did not work out. Actually it still might. Stay closeHappy Friday!

So cool. I love the wheels too, very vintage.
visiting via Trendy Tree House. I also do a lot of work with painted furniture. These white pieces are really pretty. I like the mixed hardware and the aged finish
