I do not know why but I am so drawn to antique dressers finished in a vintage white. I would have them all through my house if that was possible. I would use them next to beds, in bathrooms for extra storage, in hallways, and as sidetables in family rooms.
This particular dresser has some sweet unique wood detailing at the base next to the legs. The curves are dainty and would accent any little girls room just perfectly.
I love the vertical lines on the sides that draw attention to the legs. Love, love these legs!
We have replaced the hardware with both glass knobs and two brassy pulls on the top drawer. And an extra bonus in that top drawer is a divider to keep things neat and tidy.
A few weeks ago we ran into an antique store that was shutting down and purchased this old vintage camera. Isnt the accordian body so interesting! The little glass piece at the top is what you look down into while taking the picture. The kick stand holds it nice and steady!
And then of course of a few of my other favorites are sitting on this dresser. A picture of my maternal grandparents that I have highlighted in a previous post. This picture was taken just before my grandfather went off to war.
I have also displayed a few books that I picked up recently.

So there you go! I also have one more one dresser that I will be posting this week. It is my favorite. We hauled it out of a super old house in Salt Lake City that was getting ready to be demolished. It has bowed fronts and locks on each drawer.

You did not tell me about that camera. That is amazing. I want one. And next to Grandma's picture. Priceless.
Hi Melanie,
Looks like a ice sturdy old piece with lots of years left in it!

The new finish is lovely and still retains some of it's history. I love it. Your collected items on top are so very interesting!
Great transformation!...Christine
The dresser turned out great. I like the vintage camera. DD2 has been thinking about starting a collection.

beautiful! And I agree - I could have these in every room of my house. Our closets are terrible and these add so much character - and storage! Great re-do!
Nice job, I like the different handles.
