The Kaitlin Dresser - Before & After

Dimensions:

42" Wide . 50" Tall . 20" Deep

Do you remember this??

Before

After

This one was already earmarked to be black so we could not go against our prior decision. This is quite a unique dresser / armoire. The round inlays in the doors as well as the bowed drawers give it a very distinguished look. If someone is looking for a one of a kind . . . I think this could be it. I think this would also work wonderfully to house a flat screen t.v. It is the perfect height plus tons of storage. Can you tell I love storage? I really really do.

So here is what else is happening and coming up.

We delivered a custom refinish today so before and after pictures soon to come. We picked up a beautiful queen headboard and footboard. I think it is going to be amazing and it has been a while since we have done a bed. The plans on it are still to be determined. If you are in the market for a queen bed and may be interested be sure and email me your thoughts.

We have a couple more dressers waiting for makeovers. Today Mike and I spent the day researching and talking and learning and listening. We visited a few consignment shops and it was very enlightening. It was a good day.

This week my little sister is having her second baby. I get to be there with an assignment - take pictures. Yes, me. I am the photographer. No pressure there. Just tons of memories to capture on a wonderful day like that! Wish me luck! I cannot want to meet this little guy and hold him and smell him and kiss him. If all goes as planned it will happen some time on Thursday. Love love these little blessings.

really cute, but I'd love to see a few pieces without all the rub marks through the finish. maybe one or two on a corner here and there, but not all over.

I am also looking for a queen bed frame. I've been hoping for a four poster bed (but not really tall posts) or a sleigh bed, and I'm pretty sure I want it in black. I'd love to see pictures of the bed you mentioned.

Beautiful job on the armoire! The glossy black paint is really beautiful on it. I repurposed a vintage wardrobe cabinet into a TV armoire which stand proudly in my living room. I can close up the doors on it and don't have to see the TV all the time.

Great transformation, Melanie!
