The Jacob Hutch - Before & After

Dimensions:
56" Wide . 81" Tall . 16" Deep
Before

This is the picture we bought the hutch from and I am sure glad we did because it turned out to be a beauty!

After

I love all of the fun details on this piece. I love the hinges that sit on the outside of the doors. Love em, love em! This is the first hutch we have had like this. I think it sets it apart and gives it a unique look and feel. I have had a hard time finding hutches with four panels of glass instead of just three. So when I found this one I was so happy!
I love the elegance in the wood detail at to the top of the hutch. The curves and swirls really crown the whole piece. The silverware drawer is sweet and provides for organization and extra storage. I can just see some vintage silver placed neatly in each designated section.

Yes, we are happy with this makeover.

Up next, Mike is working on a dresser, mirror, and nightstand that will be fabulous in any little girl's room.

We are also working on a custom twin bed which is going to be beautiful and an old, old rocking chair. Check back!

  3. Once we got the Jacob Hutch home Dustin said to me as he saw me trying to figure out what to put in this gorgeous piece, "Let's look and see how Melanie decorated with it..." Thought you'd get a kick out of that!
