I was playing around with some fabric last week and trying to teach myself how to make some fun fabric flowers. This is the result.
But let me tell you! At one point some fresh glue right out of the gun made contact with my left index finger and oh my ouch! I hate it when that happens.
My immediate response was get it off.
So of course it is glue and sticking to the skin and when you pull it off well ladies, I think you know what happens then.
Some more ouch! ouch! ouch!

Wow ~ love/hate relationships with the glue gun are common around here too :) Looks like it was well worth it though!!
ReplyDeleteMelanie! LOL- I can't tell you how many "to-the-bone" glue gun burns I have had...and then I tried one of those low-temp melt guns....yeah...wanted to throw that one in the street so it would get hit by a truck and smashed beyond use....However, there is NOTHING LIKE a glue gun to get things done, is there?
ReplyDeleteNow these creations of yours are beautiful...I love them...but you KNOW that I can't let you keep playing with the glue stuff when you are SO GOOD at your furniture fixing....get back to work...no playing with fabric allowed for you no matter HOW cute it is....just sayin... xxoo Diana
Ouch !Been there , Done that !
ReplyDeleteum, this is super cute. burned fingers and all!

Been there, done that! It's the price we pay for CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteCute flowers! I learned to have a glass/cup of cold water nearby so I can dip my finger right in. It sure does take the heat away. ♥♫

Over twenty years ago, I was glue gunning a lot. I burned myself so badly that I had to go to sleep with my hand in a bowl of milk. The milk really helped. How is your job going? Ann
